About Whalers Great Route Ultra-Trail®

Whalers Great Route Ultra-Trail® is a 101 km ultra trail of Ultra Blue Island 2026 in Portugal. The race starts on May 1, 2026 at 10:00 PM. The course climbs 4722 m+ and descends 4722 m−, between a low point of -2 m and a high point of 1018 m. By gradient, 37% of the distance is uphill, 39% downhill and 24% flat. The longest climb runs 6.8 km at an average 13.4% grade (907 m of vertical). The longest descent runs 3.7 km at 10.7% (397 m of vertical). Surface: 50% smooth, 27% trail, and 21% road. Flat-equivalent effort: 142.5 FlatKM.
