About MIUT 85

MIUT 85 is a 85.6 km ultra trail of Madeira Island Ultra-Trail® 2025 in Funchal, Portugal. The race starts on April 26, 2025. The course climbs 4695 m+ and descends 4695 m−, between a low point of -42 m and a high point of 1713 m. By gradient, 31% of the distance is uphill, 40% downhill and 29% flat. The longest climb runs 4.6 km at an average 18.2% grade (830 m of vertical). The longest descent runs 7.3 km at 10.8% (788 m of vertical). Surface: 62% trail, 25% road, and 8% smooth. Flat-equivalent effort: 121.2 FlatKM.
