The course climbs 3300 m+. With 72 m/km of climbing, the course is exceptionally steep, with long hiking-grade sections. By gradient, 44% of the distance is uphill, 45% downhill and 11% flat. The longest climb runs 3.9 km at an average 13.9% grade (541 m of vertical). The longest descent runs 5.2 km at 14.3% (741 m of vertical). The steepest climb averages 46.0% over 0.2 km.
